📜 History
The Love Potion is a Valentine's Day cocktail that emerged from home bartending culture as a festive, fruit-forward spin on the cranberry vodka template. Its signature deep ruby color — produced by the combination of raspberry vodka, cranberry juice, and grenadine — became a fixture on recipe blogs and social media each February. There is no single credited inventor; the drink evolved from the broader category of red and pink Valentine's cocktails and gained lasting popularity through its striking appearance, approachable four-ingredient format, and easy batch-friendly nature. The name draws on the long tradition of love potions as symbols of romantic intent, making it equally suited to intimate date nights and Valentine's gatherings.
