Paloma Pitcher
Mexicos favorite cocktail in batch form—tequila grapefruit and lime
- 2 cupsblanco tequila(100 percent agave)
- 2 cupsfresh grapefruit juice(ruby red preferred)
- ½ cupfresh lime juice
- ¼ cupagave syrup
- 2 cupssparkling water(or grapefruit soda)
- grapefruit wedges, salt rimgarnish
- 1Combine tequila grapefruit juice lime juice and agave in pitcher
- 2Stir well
- 3Refrigerate until ready to serve
- 4Add sparkling water just before serving
- 5Rim glasses with salt
- 6Serve over ice
- 7Garnish with grapefruit wedge

The Paloma is actually more popular than the Margarita in Mexico though less known internationally. Made with tequila and grapefruit soda it is lighter and more refreshing than a margarita.
