Ingredients

  • ozgrappa(white smooth grappa)
  • ¾ ozfresh lemon juice
  • ½ ozhoney syrup(can infuse with chamomile)
  • ½ ozchamomile liqueur
  • ½ ozegg white(optional)
  • 🍋Lemon zest, white grapes(garnish)

Instructions

  1. If using egg white, dry shake all ingredients without ice first.
  2. Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously until well chilled.
  3. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
  4. Express lemon zest over the drink.
  5. Garnish with lemon zest and skewered white grapes.
  6. Serve immediately.

Created by Samuele Ambrosi of GrappaRevolution and Leonardo Varesi of Riva Bar, the VE.N.TO became the first grappa-based cocktail on the IBA Official List in 2020. The name combines Veneto (Ve), Trentino (To), and the Italian word for wind (vento), celebrating Italy's premier grappa-producing regions.
