An elegant layered cocktail featuring brandy, vermouth, orange juice, and a float of ruby port, with a subtle mint accent.
- ¾ ozcognac
- ¾ ozdry vermouth
- ¾ ozorange juice
- ¼ ozgrenadine
- 1 barspoonwhite creme de menthe
- ½ ozruby port(float)
- Rose petalgarnish
- 1Add brandy, vermouth, orange juice, grenadine, and crème de menthe to a shaker with ice.
- 2Shake well until chilled.
- 3Strain into a Collins glass.
- 4Float ruby port on top by pouring slowly over the back of a bar spoon.
- 5Garnish with a rose petal if available.
