Ingredients

  • 1 ozgalliano
  • 1 ozwhite creme de cacao
  • 1 ozheavy cream
  • 🍋Freshly grated nutmeg(garnish)

Instructions

  1. Add Galliano, white creme de cacao, and heavy cream to a shaker.
  2. Fill with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  4. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
  5. Serve immediately.

📜 History

Created in 1952 at Poor Red's BBQ in El Dorado, California, by bartender Frank Klein. A newly engaged couple asked him to create a celebratory drink to match their gold-colored Cadillac. The cocktail became so popular that Poor Red's became the world's largest consumer of Galliano liqueur.
