History & Origin

Pickle brine started showing up in margaritas as home cooks and food publications tested ways to use up leftover jar juice, discovering that a small splash adds a salty backbone similar to a salted rim without watering down the citrus. This version leans further into the trend with muddled jalapeño and a Tajin-and-salt rim for extra heat, building on the same briny appeal that made the Pickleback a bar staple.
