Ingredients

1 ozgin(London dry style)
1 ozapple brandy(calvados)
½ tspabsinthe
½ tspgrenadine(real pomegranate)
🍋lemon twist(garnish)

Instructions

Combine gin and apple brandy and absinthe and grenadine in a shaker.
Fill with ice and shake briefly.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with a lemon twist.

📜 History

Named after Jack Dempsey the heavyweight boxing champion who was one of the biggest sports stars of the 1920s. The drink appears in the Savoy Cocktail Book.
