Ingredients

¾ ozamaretto
¼ ozoverproof rum(151 proof floated on top)
8 ozlager beer

Instructions

Pour beer into a pint glass.
Pour amaretto into a shot glass then carefully float overproof rum on top.
Carefully ignite the rum then quickly drop the shot into the beer to extinguish.
Drink immediately while still fizzing.

📜 History

The Flaming Dr Pepper became famous in college bars in the 1980s. Despite containing no Dr Pepper the combination creates a remarkably similar flavor.
