Irish Mist Coffee
A variation on Irish Coffee using honey instead of sugar for a more complex sweetness.
- 1½ ozirish whiskey
- 4 ozhot coffee
- ½ ozhoney
- 1 ozheavy cream(Lightly whipped)
- Whipped cream floatgarnish
- 1Preheat an Irish coffee glass with hot water, then discard.
- 2Add honey to the warm glass and pour in hot coffee.
- 3Stir until honey is dissolved.
- 4Add Irish whiskey and stir gently.
- 5Float lightly whipped cream on top by pouring over the back of a spoon.
- 6Serve without stirring - sip the coffee through the cream.
