Instructions

  1. Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe, discarding the excess
  2. Add rye, simple syrup, and bitters to a mixing glass with ice
  3. Stir for 25-30 seconds until well-chilled
  4. Strain into the prepared glass without ice
  5. Express a lemon twist over the drink and discard
