Ranch Water is a three-ingredient Texas cocktail traditionally made with blanco tequila, fresh lime juice, and Topo Chico sparkling mineral water. Its origins are rooted in West Texas, where cattle ranchers are said to have mixed the simple combination to cool off after long days outdoors. Austin's Ranch 616 restaurant is frequently cited as one of the first commercial venues to serve the drink, beginning in the late 1990s.
