📜 History
Tinto de Verano, meaning "summer red wine," originated in Córdoba in the 1920s at a bar called Venta de Vargas. It's the everyday Spanish answer to sangria—simpler, faster, and arguably more refreshing. While sangria is considered a tourist drink, Tinto de Verano is what Spaniards actually drink during the scorching summer months, from beach chiringuitos to city terrazas.
