  • 0.5 ozlime cordial(or fresh lime with sugar)

Instructions

  1. Combine gin and lime cordial in a shaker with ice.
  2. Garnish with a lime wheel.
  3. Shake until well chilled.
  4. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.

📜 History

Originally made with Rose's lime cordial to prevent scurvy on British naval ships. The cocktail became popular in the 1920s and was famously featured in Raymond Chandler novels.
