This Halloween sangria comes from Erin Clarke of the food blog Well Plated, first published in October 2014 and saved more than 16,000 times on Pinterest, which makes it the most widely shared Halloween sangria recipe found online. Instead of ice, frozen black and green grapes keep each glass cold without watering it down, and a rim of colored sugar adds the holiday touch. The build follows the familiar red sangria pattern also seen in versions from Fresh April Flours, The Seasoned Mom and Sunset: a bottle of fruity red wine, a splash of brandy or orange liqueur, sliced citrus, a rest in the refrigerator and a fizzy topper just before serving.
