The Corpse Reviver No. 3 is a later addition to the Corpse Reviver family, created at London's Savoy Hotel around 1948-1954. Unlike the more famous No. 1 and No. 2, this version combines brandy with the intense bitterness of Fernet Branca and the cooling mint of crème de menthe. It was created by Johnny Johnson or Joe Gilmore at the Savoy's American Bar, intended as a potent morning-after remedy.
