Ingredients

  • 1½ ozvodka
  • 4 ozorange juice(freshly squeezed)
  • ½ ozGalliano(floated on top)
  • 🍋orange slice and cherry(garnish)

Instructions

  1. Add vodka and orange juice then stir gently
  2. Fill a highball glass with ice cubes
  3. Float Galliano on top by pouring slowly over the back of a barspoon
  4. Garnish with an orange slice and cherry

📜 History

This drink became a sensation in the 1970s and was reportedly named after a California surfer. The Galliano float gives it a signature anise-vanilla note that made it a disco era icon.
