📜 History
Umeshu is a Japanese plum wine made by steeping green ume plums in shochu or sake with sugar. Traditionally enjoyed on the rocks or mixed with soda, umeshu became a cocktail ingredient in its own right as Japanese drinking culture gained international attention.
